An Honors course for students wanting to learn more about the fundamentals of ethics and how to analyze real-world problems in light of those concepts.
So you want to talk about ethics...
Conversations courses are one-credit-hour classes that stress conversations about the topic areas. Professor Robert English will walk students through a guided discussion of Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl cases, introducing and explaining ethical theories and concepts along the way.
Students who want to talk about the big issues facing us are exactly the right fit for this class. You'll leave with a deeper understanding of ethics and how morality can be used to construct solutions to pressing problems.
This course also makes you eligible to try out for the UM Ethics Bowl Team.
