Debate 2024

This year the ethics bowl teams of Youngstown State University and the University of Mississippi face off in a debate over the role of AI in courtrooms. In particular, the teams will debate whether it's ethically responsible (and if so how) for private companies to develop AI technologies which would assist judges in running the courtroom and sentencing criminals.
